The Smoking Serpents (Promo art)

This is concept art for an upcoming graphic novel I am going to start working on soon. It will be a retelling of the masterpiece Seven Samurai by Akira Kurosawa.

Angylyn Shioh is the daughter of a deceased Samurai looking to protect her village from bandits disguised as samurai of the shogunate. She must venture out to the great city of Tatsu to seek worthy contenders to aid her in defending the helpless village of Yokomura.

This will be my biggest project yet, so hang tight! : )
