Most who have lived in the city for most of their lives know that the sentiment puppet bunraku of the Tatsu clan are vicious stalkers that hunt those who dare oppose the shogunate. They can chase down their target from miles away while sending pure terror down someone's spine. However, they're some who know the weaknesses to these assassins and found a way to counter their attacks and dismantle them. The ronin who fought off these hunters inspired an entire village into starting a rebellion against the samurai lords who sought to use the means of assassination to silence their people.
What was thought to be a massive uprising for the people of Tekkan instantly became a false dream of a poor villager. Overnight, the ronin and their followers had gathered in secret to plan their defense against the bunraku siege threatened by the shogunate early that day. But at the time of the invasion, the ronin saw no hunter, no soldier, no weapon outside their village walls. This suspicious lack of presence was the last thing to be reported before an arrow was found between the eyes of each ronin the next day. Trembling in fear, the one survivor who was left unscathed swore to not witness nor hear a single arrow being released into someone's skull. Each kill was done so precisely and swiftly, that no one could possibly trace the origins of the attacker. After this lethal raid, no personal belonging was confiscated, no building was set aflame, and no Tatsu soldier to police the area was to be seen. Whoever organized this attack must've done this for no other reason than to inject fear into the town's people back into their place in this new age of Tekkan.
